Worawon Chailimpamontree Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital Thailand

Worawon Chailimpamontree M.D, MHSc. Division of Nephrology, Department of Medicine, Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand. She completed her MD from the Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University in Thailand. She obtained residency training in internal medicine and fellowship in Nephrology at Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital. She also received a MHSc from the University of British Columbia, Canada. Her postdoc training was completed at the section of Nephrology at Vancouver General Hospital, Canada. Her main areas of interest include chronic kidney disease and burden of high sodium intake. Currently, she is the Executive Committee of the Nephrology Society of Thailand and Secretary of the Thai Low Salt Network. Her role in policy development for CKD prevention in Thailand has been impactful, as she implemented the low salt campaign and took lead in setting up a national strategy on sodium reduction in Thailand endorsed by the Ministry of Public Health.
