Jie Ding, M.D., Ph.D.Professor of Pediatrics, Peking University First Hospital. Prof Ding graduated from Beijing Medical College in 1982 and was trained in Pediatric Nephrology in University of Minnesota from late 80’s to early 90’s.Prof. Jie Ding is the Honorary President of the Chinese Society of Pediatric Nephrology, the president of Beijing Society of Rare Diseases. Prof. Jie Ding is serving or used to serve in the International Pediatric Association (IPA) as the Standing Committee member, in the International Pediatric Nephrology Association (IPNA) as the councilor member, and the Assail Pediatric Nephrology Association (AsPNA) as the councilor member.Prof. Jie Ding has been working as a doctor for about 40 years in the field of pediatric nephrology. Her research focuses on hereditary renal diseases, IgA nephropathy as well as CKD. She published more than 300 papers in international or national medical journals as the first or correspondence author, including an original article published on NEJM. She has been awarded many national research grants as PI as well as a NIH R01 grant as a site-PI. She received the highest national-level scientific research award in China, the second prize of the National Scientific and Technological Progress Award.
