Jay L. Koyner, MD, is a Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Section of Nephrology at the University of Chicago Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He is also the Medical Director of the Acute Inpatient Hemodialysis Unit and directs the Critical Care Nephrology program at the University of Chicago Medical Center. His research focuses on the early diagnosis and care of patients with acute kidney injury.
