Larisa Prikhodina Russia

Professor Larisa Prikhodina is currently the Chief Researcher at the Research & Clinical Institute for Pediatrics, Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, Professor of Pediatrics at the Russian Medical Academy of Continuous Professional Education, Moscow, Russia. She received her Ph.D. (2001) from the Research Institute of Pediatrics (Moscow, Russia). She has got scholarships in pediatric nephrology at the Institute of Child Health and Great Ormond Street Hospital for children (London, UK), Kinderklinic (Hannover, Germany) and Campus Gasthuisberg (Leuven, Belgium). Her major research effort focuses on the inherited kidney disorders including monogenic steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome in children. She has authored more than 250 publications in Russian and International journals, 28 chapters in national books. Larisa Prikhodina has an extensive national and international network, she has been member of the IPNA (2008-2013) and ESPN (2016-2018) councils and currently the ISN council, Deputy Chair of the ISN NIS & Russia, Board member of the ISN Sister Renal Centers Committee and Russian Association of Pediatric Nephrologists. She has served on Scientific Committee for the IPNA Congresses and ESPN Meetings. Dr. Prikhodina is editorial board member of the Journal of Nephrology and Dialysis and Journal of Clinical Nephrology. She reviewed papers for Pediatric Nephrology, Journal of Nephrology, BMC Pediatrics.
