Session Description:
This session is designed to provide participants with the latest evidence regarding the effective utilization of Renal Replacement Therapy (RRT) in critically ill patients. The focus of the session is on timing of initiation, modality, and dose. In addition, this session will cover the role of RRT with other organ support therapies.

Learning Objectives:
Identify key studies regarding optimal timing of RRT initiation in critically ill patients. Understand key issues regarding choice of modality for AKI in the ICU. Review RRT dosing recommendations and the challenges in delivering dose. Discuss the role of RRT with other organ support therapies in critically ill patients with multiple organ dysfunction.
