Dr. Rémi Goupil is a nephrologist and head of the hypertension clinic at the Sacré-Coeur Hospital in Montreal, as well as an associate clinical professor at the University of Montreal. He is a Junior 2 clinician-scientist at the FRQS and dedicates a large part of his research activities to the optimization of blood pressure measurements. He has received numerous awards, such as the Young Nephrologist Award from the Quebec Society of Nephrology (2022) and New Investigator awards from the Quebec Society of hypertension (2022) and the Canadian Society of Nephrology (2020). For his research activities, he has received numerous grants, including from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Heart + Stroke Foundation and the Kidney Foundation.
