Lisa Radix was born in St. George’s Grenada. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in Microbiology and subsequently matriculated at St.George’s University School of Medicine. This was followed by Internal Medicine residency at the Seton Hall University affiliate, St. Michael's Medical Center, Newark, New Jersey, and fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nephrology. Dr. Radix practiced Nephrology in Kentucky and Tennessee for twenty years where she was the recipient of many awards. During that time she served as Medical Director of three out patient hemodialysis units; Department Head of Nephrology at her local hospital and started both inpatient and outpatient peritoneal dialysis services in her community. Dr. Radix is a founding member of Universal Health and Wellness Foundation and is currently consulting with Grenada’s Ministry of Health on strengthening the Nephrology program and providing Kidney Replacement Therapy services at the Grenada General Hospital.
