Asya Abdalla Salum Tanzania

Born in 1982 in Zanzibar, I have two lovely girls and I am married. I work as a registered nurse and have been in the medical field for 14 years.At Catholic University of Health and Allied Science (CUHAS), I earned a diploma in nursing and midwifery. Spent 2 years as a midwife in the Aga Khan Hospital in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Bachelor of Nursing graduated at St. John University in Dodoma. Then at Mnazi mmoja Referral Hospital I spent 9 years. In the pediatric ward I worked for 4 years, and 5 years was in charge of the dialysis unit.I completed the six-month NOREC short course in Norway and received a certificate. A member of Nephrology Society of Tanzania (NESOT), International Society of Nephrology (ISN) and Africa Nephrology Nurse (AFNN). I am currently enrolled in 2 year Master of Nephrology program at Muhimbili National Hospital Tanzania.
