Talia Weinstein obtained her MD degree from the Technion Medical School in Haifa, Israel followed by a residency in Nephrology at the Rabin Medical Center in Petach Tikva, Israel. She then completed a fellowship in Nephrology at Toronto University, Canada, and a PhD at Tel-Aviv University Medical School, Israel, exploring the role of proteoglycans in kidney disease. She is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Tel Aviv University Medical School, and former Director of Dialysis at the Tel Aviv Medical Center, Israel.She is Past-President of the Israel Society of Nephrology and Hypertension, and currently the Secretary-Elect of the UEMS-Nephrology Section, and Committee Member of the Western Board of the ISN.
