Winston Wing Shing Fung MBBChir (Cantab), FRCP (London), FHKCP, FHKAM graduated from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. He went on to complete his Nephrology training in Hong Kong, where he attains several academic and exemplary teacher awards from the Hong Kong College of Physicians and his affiliated university. He is currently a specialist and an honorary clinical assistant professor in the Prince of Wales Hospital and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.He is a guest member in the International Society of Nephrology World Kidney Day Joint Steering Committee 2020 and he is currently serving on the Education Committee in the Hong Kong Society of Nephrology. He also serves on the high-risk peritoneal dialysis working group in the home-based dialysis subcommittee for the Government Hospital Authority. He has more than 60 peers-reviewed publications and is a reviewer in several peer-reviewed journals including Kidney International Report, Peritoneal Dialysis International, Nephrology Dialysis Transplantation and Nephrology. His special interests include the polycystic kidney disease and he is the principal investigator for establishing the Hong Kong Polycystic Kidney Disease Registry.
