Dr Muhammad Iqbal Abdul Hafidz
Dr Iqbal is currently the Head of the Nephrology Unit and Kidney Transplant Programme of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM)He has a keen interest in extracorporeal therapy and established the first fully haemodiafiltration centre in the country. He is also very active in society work and is a council member of both the Malaysian Society of Nephrology (MSN) and the Malaysian Society of Transplantation (MST).Dr Iqbal was selected to be the first cohort of the ISN Emerging Leaders Programme and is also a committee member of the ISN Advocacy Working Group.He is passionate in medical education and is involved in both the undergraduate and national postgraduate activities. He was chosen to lead an EU academic project in organ donation and transplantation called the Organ Donation Innovative Strategy in South East Asia (ODISSeA) with the University of Barcelona.
