Dr.Vuddhidej Ophascharoensuk is currently the president of the Nephrology Society of Thialand, and chief of the Renal Division, Department of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai, THAILAND. After receiving his medical degree from Chulalonglorn University in Bangkok, Dr. Vuddhidej completed residency in internal medicine and fellowship in clinical nephrology at Chiang Mai University. He then had a research fellowship training in glomerular disease at the Division of Nephrology, University of Washington, Seattle during 1995-1997. Dr. Vuddhidej’s research is focused on lupus nephritis, diabetic kidney disease, and CKD. He is also interested in quality and performance improvements on the kidney replacement therapy.
