Became Master of Medical Science in 2007 and completed her PhD in 2011. Became assistant professor at Medical Faculty, University of Tuzla in 2014 and associate professor in 2019. She became specialist in Internal Medicine in 2009, and that is when she first started working at renal unit. Completed long-term fellowship in nephrology and kidney transplantation in Renal Unit of Royal Preston Hospital, Preston, UK, under the auspices of ISN in 2015 and fellowship in nephrology for University Clinical Center Tuzla, 2017 through 2019.She was trained in all aspects of renal medicine, including interventional, at her home institution and abroad (Slovenia, England…). She is dedicated to academic and professional networking between nephrologists, internists and other specialities with promoting holistic approach to patients. PROJECTS AND RESEARCHAs author or coauthor published papers in local, regional and international journals with around 400 citations, and local and reginal textbooks in nephrology and internal medicine. Periodical reviewer for several international journals and is involved with national and international studies and projects mainly with aim of advancing education and practice in renal medicine. Participated in numerous local, regional and international CME courses and scientific conferences including invited lectures. PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPSFull member of national, Society for Nephrology, Dialysis and Transplantation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and full member of ISN where she is member of its several boards and steering committees.
