Dr. Yang is a Professor of Medicine in Renal Division of Peking University First Hospital and deputy director of Peking University Institute of Nephrology, where she directs research in acute kidney injury and renal pathology. She is committee member of the International Society of Nephrology Commission on Acute Renal Failure. She received the M.D. degree from Peking University in 2001, and has been on the faculty at Peking University First Hospital since 2001. She was a Research Fellow, granted by the International Society of Nephrology, in the renal division of Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, from 2007-2010. Her research interests are in the field of acute kidney injury, drug associated kidney diseases, and renal pathology.
