Yusuke Suzuki is currently Professor of Department of Nephrology in Graduate School of Juntendo University. His academic positions include Directors of Japanese Society of Nephrology (JSN), Councilor of Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, Japanese Society of Dialysis Therapy, Japanese Society of Hypertension, Liaison officer in ISN sister renal center program for JSN/Vietnam, Chief Researcher of Special Research Group of IgA Nephropathy in Progressive Renal Diseases Research from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japan, Chief Researcher of biomarker project on IgA nephropathy from Research on Intractable Disease from Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development. His research mainly focused on the pathogenesis of IgA nephropathy. So far, his studies were supported more than 65 scientific research grants. He has more than 140 English publications, including Kidney Int, JASN, J Clin Invest, Nat Med, Science Adv. He is now Editor-in-Chief of Nephrology, and an editorial Board member for Kidney Int and Kidney Diseases.
