Kornchanok Vareesangthip Chairperson Siriraj hospital, Mahidol UnivThailand

Session Description:
This session aims to introduce new CKD diagnosis using the latest state-of-art technology and its perspectives. Recent deep learning-based pathological analysis has the potential to maximize the information from small biopsy samples, and establish a more objective and quantitative diagnosis. In addition, multiplex tissue imaging can visualize various cellular phenotypes and cell-cell interactions in situ in biopsy samples. These newest technologies have the potential to take pathological diagnosis to a new dimension.

Learning Objectives:
An increased understanding of the advances in deep learning of pathological evaluation of kidney biopsies. An increased awareness of the methods and utilization of multiplex tissue imaging to visualize cellular phenotypes and cell-cell interactions on kidney biopsy samples. An appreciation what these new technologies can bring to pathological diagnosis of kidney biopsies.
