Dr Rosario Luxardo, MD, MSc, is a Consultant Nephrologist at Hospital Italiano of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Fellow of the SLANH/ERA-EDTA Registry Fellowship, held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where she used data from the Latin American Dialysis and Transplant Registry (RLADTR) and ERA-EDTA Registry to compare the epidemiology of patients under renal replacement therapy in both regions. Since 2017 she has been a member of the Latin American Dialysis and Transplant Registry committee where her main activities are to promote the development of renal registries, train nephrologists from Latin American countries in the creation and maintenance of patient’s registries, and elaborate the annual reports using RLADTR data.
